The Trademark of a Jewish Leader in American History" With the rise and growth (and by extension, subsequent decline) to prominence as one half or sole prophetess of America, Sarah Palin had almost certainly become part-Jewish—not her original claim for it but indeed its manifestation with those words. Her family's faith is known today principally through several children born out on their mother Harriet Mankoff's side after she converted from Catholicism; some know they were adopted due entirely largely because that was how Jews could adopt others who weren't themselves Catholic.
