Can you please give the source of the Zohar you mentioned in response to a question concerning the ability of emotions to grasp G-d. Wouldn't that contradict the idea that our animal soul rests in the heart while our G-dly soul rests in our mind?
This can be found in Zohar III 289b.
In chapter nine of Tanya, near the beginning, you’ll find that G‑dly soul rests both in the mind and the right ventricle of the heart. It’s a lot more quiet than the animal, but if you listen carefully, it can be heard.
Thank you so much for the clarification. This class really inspired me to the point that i wrote a poem concerning understanding the G-d and His oneness.
