Behold, I have placed before you today life and good, death and evil...Choose the good. (Deuteronomy 30:15-19)

G‑d puts your hand on the right choice and says, "Here, choose this." (Rashi)

There is no such thing as an easy moral choice. G‑d put you on this earth to make such choices and it wouldn't be worth it if it weren't hard.

What is hard about it? That you can only find which path leads to life by choosing to hold yourself back and look deeper, on a bigger scale, according to your real values.

But as soon as you make that choice, divine light comes to your aid and shows you the way.

That is the free choice you have: To stop and look deeper.
