Meditating upon the awesomeness of the Higher Consciousness and your relative insignificance you may conclude that your deeds are also insignificant within such a context.
But the Higher Consciousness is more than higher. It is Beyond. Beyond higher and lower.
It's also important to consider the fact that we are all aspects of the "Higher Consciousness," being created by It/out of It, and therefore everything we do is a reflection thereof. That being said, there's no reason not to strive to make our deeds as significant as "humanly" possible. Reply
Ditto Do the math: the number 1 relative to the infinite is just as insignificant as the number 1 trillion. It is a misunderstanding of the definition of 'Infinite' to assume that to God, a great spiritual achievement or a million person peace rally is of more significance than a single mitzva fulfiled in the most mundane world.
