I scored 8/10, which I suppose is not THAT bad, but still i am not satisfied. I got the first question wrong only because I wasn't paying close enough attention to all the choices, rushing to answer it. The other question I got wrong puzzles me, because since when was matzah ever offered as part of a Temple sacrifice? That doesn't sound right to me Reply

I got 9 out of 10 correct. I see this quiz went back to 2024, was recycled in 2025, & recycled again this year. I don't remember if I ever took it before. Reply

The question of Matza as a 'sacrifice' is misleading.
It is brought as an 'Offering', not a 'Sacrifice'.
It is not slaughtered.
And 'Afikoman' is spelled with the last vowel an 'a', not an 'e'.
Although it is originally Greek, transliterated into Hebrew and now from
Hebrew into English.
Afikoman is derived from Greek, commonly transliterated as ἐπικώμιον (epikomion) or ἐπίκωμον (epikomon), which refers to "that which comes after" or "dessert". It originates from the Greek phrase epi komon, referring to after-meal entertainment or refreshments.

8/10, but I found question #3 a little strange. At least at my seder we have the matzot to the side of the seder plate, not directly on top. Reply
