For me it is thrilling to see and realize how this year 5787 is projected as a year when the Sabbath is and will be more present. I already feel a difference as though the its hours linger. For me (candle lighting) ushers in a different kind of time, precious time, holy time. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like it here where I live, with distractions, business around me. Thankfully I am still able to slip away to a quiet spot to read and pray. Sometimes I weep when the Sabbath hours are fading. And yes, I know celebrating observing Sabbath for me is done alone. That is okay. It is what I have right now. I am sensitive to but understand why I am not able to fully keep the day holy. That command was reserved for the children of Israel. I haven’t taken that step yet. What I do know is that I have a Jewish soul. That I have no doubt. I know I cleave to Hashem and when the Sabbath hours come my heart and soul breaks forth into song. I literally step into another life (another kind of time). Reply

Thank you, clear and powerful!

Wishing the Jewish nation an EXODUS from this galus so that we can sing our REDEPTION SONG in the Beis Hamikdash - a year in which we merit to live in The Holy Land with the entire world welcoming the Melech HaMoshiach with The Shechina's presence returning to our midst, so that all people right around the world live in ONE LOVE.
