Disc 23, Program 90
Event Date: 19 Kislev 5742 - December 15, 1981
At the Giving of the Torah, G-d’s voice was heard throughout all of creation proclaiming, “I am the L-rd your G-d Who took you out of Egypt.” Is this really G-d’s greatest accomplishment? Why didn’t He say, “I have created heaven and earth?” G-d’s ability to reveal Himself through and within Egypt itself, reveals His unique ability to unify opposites. So this truly is a measure of His Omnipotence, that even Egypt can be an expression His greatness. When G-d declared His Unity at Sinai, His powerful voice reached every corner of the world, but had no echo. All of creation absorbed G-d’s voice and was imbued with a sense of true reality – that all is one with Him. |

Wonderful. I read the sub-titles and wrote down every word so I could re-read it again and again. It's left me wanting more!
Such wonderful wisdom.
Thank you for sharing.
I just saw my late father listening intently. It was very moving.

I really enjoyed the informative speech of our Rabbi on the fact that there was no echo. No one else can describe such a feat like him. What we saw came thru our ears and what we heard came thru our eyes.
