Why Two and Half Tribes?
The two tribes of Reuven and Gad asked Moses to stay in the land Trans-Jordon, where there is sufficient pasture for their flock. How were they different from the spies in not wanting to settle in the land of Israel? And why was half the tribe of Menashe allotted a portion with them?
