What should someone do about smiling when they are mourning for someone? They can't just walk around with a sad face or they will make everyone else sad too. Reply

in response to Devorah:

Hi Devorah, before I address your question, let me offer my condolences on your loss. If we are blessed God gives us His special diamonds to watch, but the time comes when He asks for them back, and we must return them. Your Diamond must have been very special.
In answer to your question, it is very kind that you are worried about other people's sadness. So the answer is correct yourself and you automatically correct others. Logic and emotion are two different dimensions. You can tell yourself not to be sad but that may not work all the time. However, that shouldn't stop you from trying. I believe, that the real sadness that we experience when we lose someone is OUR LOSS, we can't hold thiem talk to them, but we do have memories that hopefully bring joy to our hearts and a smile on our lips. and then there is the belief that at the end of time we will all be once again united. I hope that i have answered your question if not please feel free to contact me. May God bless you! Reply
