What Makes You Happy?
Dear Reader,
On Wednesday we usher in the joyous month of Adar, which includes the fun-filled holiday of Purim. The sages tell us that “when Adar arrives, we increase in joy.” Note that the sages did not just say “become joyous” but to “increase in joy.” The Rebbe points out that this enjoins us to bring joy to others as well.
What do you do to make yourself—and others—happy? Why do you find that happiness is so central to living a full Jewish life?
