Joy Reaches Highest
Disc 151, Program 601
Event Date: 10 Shevat 5742 - February 03, 1982
King David writes, “Serve G-d with joy.” Our study of Torah, our Jewish intellectual life, our acts of kindness, and our Jewish communal life, must all be infused with joy. In fact, since we must serve G-d in everything we do including our mundane activities, our entire life must be joyful. The unique power of joy allows us to break through the barriers that keep us apart from G-d. Our joyous service evokes a joyous response from Above, leading us to the time of the Moshiach, when the tenth and ultimate song will be sung to G-d in the greatest joy. |
