slight correction on the fact that one should not hang the tefillin even while putting it on (26 min). The Alter Rebbe in Shulchan Aruch siman 40 halacha 1 writes that one may put it on holding the strap even though the teffilin will hang. (unless he writes otherwise elsewhere)
