The Rebbe enters the synagogue, touches the Ark and gives charity before ascending the podium and prays Minchah with the children. After the children say the Torah passages, they are addressed by the Rebbe.

From G-d’s blessing to Yaakov, “And you shall spread forth to the west, to the east, to the north and to the south.” These words became a slogan for the Rebbe’s call to reach every Jew, wherever he may be.
On the third day of creation, when G-d created plant life, all the nourishing produce of the fields sprouted forth, and every single tree bore fruit, becoming a source of delectable pleasure.

“And you shall spread out westward and eastward and northward and southward.” (Genesis 28:14) This lively Niggun was composed to honor the Rebbe’s campaign to spread Torah Judaism to all four corners of the globe.

After camping at the foot of Mount Sinai, studying their newly received Torah, the Jewish People suddenly saw G-d’s Clouds of Glory lift, signaling that it was now His command that they journey toward the Land of Israel.
