Today we have sperm donors. Can it be possible to marry a sibling and not have the information to know this for certain? What would the Halacha be? Reply
Re: Sperm donation Donating sperm is a complex issue in Jewish law, so it is hard to give a specific response.
But In general, since there are a number of Halachik issues with donating sperm, it should be avoided. In a case where one is donating sperm to be used by his own wife, a Rabbinic expert would have to be consulted in each specific instance.
