Hi Hakhel Leaders!
The Jewish year 5790 (2029-2030) is a Hakhel year, when Jews gather together to learn Torah, share inspiration, and unite as a people.
If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, you are now deep in winter, with dark nights and blustery days. Even as we savor the lingering rays of Chanukah’s brilliance, we need something more to keep us warm, uplifted, and inspired.
Yes, this is the month when we need Hakhel gatherings more than ever.
This month’s theme is Hakhel. That’s right. We’ve prepared Torah texts and discussion points all about what you will be doing right now: Spending time together, learning Torah, and gleaning inspiration from it.
As usual, we’ve also included an essay, a story, and our Hakhel Tip of the month.
Click the link below to access this month’s program and be signed up to receive a monthly program via email for the remainder of the Hakhel year.
We'd love to hear from you!
How did your Hakhel go? Do you have pictures, or even just a brief report of what went well? Please email us at [email protected] and let us know.
