It shouldn't be read as God's actual right hand; I'm only speculating, but if you mean to look into Bible etymology and then the story being told, the sons of Jacob were given equal opportunity, but each of them was given a different outcome. Beginning a new life was pretty important in those days, and with the tragedy of his birth, it seems Benjamin might be getting special treatment. 'The Benjamin of the family' is also referred to as the youngest child. Maybe seen as a treasure, naming him must have been felt understandably small yet resembling something powerfully beautiful.
