When one speaks about “serving G‑d with truth,” this does not imply — as some erroneously think — that one must pulverize mountains and shatter boulders, or turn the world upside down. The absolute truth is that any act performed in the service of G‑d, whatever it may be, is perfectly satisfactory when executed with a sincere intent: a berachah (blessing) pronounced with heartfelt intention; a word of prayer expressed with a prepared heart and an awareness of “before Whom you stand”; a passage in the Torah said with the understanding that it is the word of G‑d; a verse of Tehillim; a beneficent character trait expressed in befriending another with affection and love.
