Disc 16, Program 64
Event Date: 10 Nissan 5744 - April 12, 1984
G-d created plants and animals with the ability to procreate – to perpetuate themselves and reflect G-d’s own Infinitude. Man, too, was granted the remarkable ability to reproduce, but was additionally blessed with the ability to harness and expand the infinite powers hidden within the rest of nature. Torah tells of how Isaac sowed his field during a particularly difficult season and in a particularly undesirable land. Yet, because Isaac sowed with the intention of performing charity, G-d blessed his crop to yield one hundredfold what it otherwise would have produced. When man harnesses nature’s powers for the benefit of others, his efforts carry the infinite blessings of G-d, which increase his success beyond all limits. |
