As the school year ends and people take vacations, many want to leave all responsibility behind them. But when it comes to Torah study, there’s no such thing. Just like when we complete the communal reading of Torah, we immediately begin once again, the same is true of our own lives.

When it comes to educating young children, how could yeshivas or Jewish schools shut down for the summer?! Torah is our life-source, how can one stop learning for even one day of the year?!

For children, summer vacation is a welcome break from school. For parents and those responsible for their Jewish education, it is an opportunity not to be missed.

Summer vacation must be utilized to grow in one’s Judaism.
