Maimonides teaches us to imagine the world as hanging in the balance between good and evil. One action may be all that’s needed to tip the scales towards the good and bring salvation to the entire world.

“Every additional mikvah is accelerating the arrival of our righteous redeemer.”

The Talmud says that each new Jewish home, hastens Moshiach's arrival, and that the birth of every Jewish child hastens his coming (Collage).

Can't we just rely on G-d to bring it at the appropriate time?

The Previous Rebbe gave us a mission: "Stand ready to greet Moshiach." "Everything is already prepared, all that remains is to 'polish the buttons.'"

It is not enough to “bring Moshiach” – for that we already have the promise of G-d Almighty. It is our job to bring him as soon as possible.

To a CNN reporter: “Moshiach is ready to come now, we all must only do something additional in the realm of goodness and kindness.” To a child who comes to the Rebbe by Sunday dollars: “This dollar is for bringing Moshiach. Give it to charity for Moshiach to come faster.”

A visit by Rav Yochanan Sofer, Av Beis Din of Erloy. The Rebbe says: “Issue a rabbinic ruling that the world cannot proceed without Moshiach, and the Heavenly Court will be forced to comply.”

The Talmud, 1,500 years ago, already stated, “All ‘end-times’ for the Redemption have passed, it now awaits only repentance.” In 1941, my father-in-law, the Rebbe, launched an intense campaign that “Immediate repentance will bring immediate Redemption.”

The two central mitzvos of Sukkos—the sukkah and the Four Kinds—have at their core the theme of Jewish unity.
