This is excellent, if you point out that the “you”, which the individual thinks of as “I”, is not the actuality of the individuals. What the “I” thought is, is a thought and not an actuality. So each individual has to find the actuality of who/what they are. A similar example would be identifying with a map, each one thinking that they can in a step across it, walk across the ocean and be where they want to be. But, the map is not the territory. And, the “I thought” is not the actual “I”.
This is the lie of the serpent, and has kept humanity in a dreamland. It is easy to understand about the map not being the territory. You would just stop thinking that way. Do the same thing with “I” am my name and narrative. Stop thinking that way. Right off the bat Moshe was given the setup behind all the development of humankind: Ehyeh asher Ehyeh. “I AM what I will BE.” It is hard to make it any clearer. “All that exists is Him, and HE is YOU. Yes. So true (as is everything I have read/heard the Rebbe say) and this is the reason i am working hard to declutter my living space and while working at that, decluttering the mind and where unhelpful, often unhealthy thoughts are stored. There are so many things i thought i needed and wanted and most of them are not required to be joyful and closer to G-d, which is the aim of this soul. Thank you for this message today! Reply

Interface Very true for each individual. For He is the only reality. The rest is just a picture of one's imagination. There are some who thinks that by destroying someone's body that entity would end there. Not knowing that there is an inner oneness with the Living G-d. Except for those who separate from Him. Then, they will be lost in the nothingness of the hole. Reply

Stepping upon an interlude of space with Him I was just thinking what an interlude- a span in time-where I could meet G-d-would be like-I don't usually feel that way-what I feel is a damn of water that has let lose and overflowed in my heart allowing me to feel spiritually alive and well where nothing else has gotten through-that is my time-my interlude-myspecial points with G-d....Thanks for listening Reply

Interface Coming down to truth and the truth of the situation: There is a feeling of isolation that is within the spirit and the soul that lingers on in between the stays that G-d has with you-during that time interface has more of a hold onto your abilities and drags them down until there is nothing left of your brain at-all-interface is like this-it's like working in a office and a bad bad song comes on and you are trying to remember that G-d is there meanwhile this this song is going on destroying your peace of mind. I usually stand in front of the mirror and remember that interface hasn't gotten all of my mind yet. Reply

Chabad interfaces us with hope & reality !! So lets agree then ,we have now all been interfaced and fully plugged in , bright and ready for Rabbi's next holy sermon ; dedicated to inspire,elevate and make us wholly righteous. Reply

Interface G-d knows I have a lesson to learn but doesn't always believe in the methods of the individuals I have met here....however he has made it clear it is exactly him and I together in this despite all that is going on and done in the negative by others....There is pain but G-d does not plant the pain there-individuals do. I love my life...I love the things that I do I feel G-d there every step and he sees the pain that they cause. Reply

Interface How true what you wrote me being a loner actually I can understand what you are talking about and I am not saying that I have bypassed the problem with relationships and interface but anyway I am in the midst of reading the articles I found from the search box. I am hoping my response was proper here sometimes if not all the time I do get confused...but I am in there trying-although the last, the very last one to finish the race-I AM reading the articles about interface now. ante selection hello Judith, i am surprised that you chose the computer meaning of interface only. It does mention connection, but is so out of context .... spiritually speaking. The more expensive the dictionary the more meanings you will find. Always search for the most apt meaning. Never mind what is satirical is that you chose the computer meaning which is inept but we are all using computers to interface with one another & G-d is plugged in somehow somewhere and i bet His computers are interfaced with His angels. Dictionaries Interface..as a dictionary definition...actually means computer and printer if I'm not nistaken and I thought that was very interesting...I studied this one forever and a day and it seems to me I am cheated of just this kind of intimacy with G-d. Why is it I never feel quite alone with him-there is always a printer going or an E-Mail beeping...it is a small world after all!!!!! Reply

To whom do we love or pretend to love ??. How deep & sincere is your agape love? Do you ache for His supreme love, or do we just ejaculate lip service to satiate our need for love divine, unlike lust that not infrequently becomes sin, which unlike interface; disconnects us from G_d ??? Or do we do both; interface & promiscuous intercourse?? Reply

Interface Comment I did look up interface before I began my studying my comments for this evening and writing them in and to me interface is like having cotton mouth in the morning-or or even deeper-to go deeper it is a deep dark secret kept in a box on a dresser of an old queen that gives out the rules of whether I can live or die- that is the darkness of my imagination-and G-d is there to conquer this old old queen who threatens my life...and he makes sure that I stay in control even though the old queen wants soooo much for me to be out of control. even further to go even one step further, there is only him and we are insignificant. we are merely he at all and our own egos get in the way of the path to him over and over and over again. sad but true yet he IS the master plan so who are we to complain about anything at all. if we object to anything we are objecting him and his path. the holocaust seems to be the biggest bullet of recent history for all to overcome and are left scratching our heads in theory of his path. i have personally come to the conclusion that when people speak of jews as G-ds chosen i believe to be just that. there is a record of human sacrifice to show the world and teach historic lessons. some have Ghandi, some have Jesus and some have the recorded history of the Jews. All stories are about human sacrifice and for all to learn that we can stay evil or live within the animal soul or we can choose a different path. everything else is irrelevant but his truth path to wisdom and residing on the planet that was created for u Reply

INTERFACE If it is so, then, concerning human beings, I should not think that such encounter is just a figure of my imagination, but instead, accept the encounter as the point where two subjects meet and affect each other. Therefore, the correct action to take is come to the Throne of Glory to seek counsel in handling the effect of the subject's action for the sake of that relationship and G-d's sake.
It is amazing how our Heavenly Father communicate with us. The first thing I see this morning is this message, and I was just praying for counsel concerning other people's behavior toward me. It is very hard to deal with other people behavior when we cannot judge by their actions or appearances, but the feeling is that there is something wrong. Yet, I understand that only G-d really knows the heart and inner secrets of human kind. Your message Rabbi Freeman has been a blessing this morning.
