rose water and slits Miriam,

you can get Rose water at any middle easter store. Sadaf brand has a hechsher. Amazon also carries it. I cut the slits so the parchment paper fits snugly in the baking sheet. Shabbat Shalom! Reply

Persian cake What is the liquid that you paint on to the cake? I did not hear or see what it was. Reply

Rose water Dear Eliana,

It is too hard to make rose water at home. You would need a distillery! You are better off getting it online. Cortas brand is fine without a hechsher. You can also use brandy or simple syrup instead of rose water.

Best! Reply
