My mother passed last August 2019. I've been though so much emotional pain. It felt so intense. I lost my husband at the age of 30 in a car crash. My mind seemed to bring unresolved issues to surface.
We do need that year to grieve, I still cry somedays, always say Kaddish.
So many things happened around the time of my mother's illness. My Wheelchair use was now full time, my pain felt consoled by HaShem, I felt alone and vulnerable.
There was a positive side, I now feel closer to what I believe, it's given me so much comfort.
I was saddened to learn of the loss of one of your Community, you never expect it, that is what hurts, my mother was nearly 93 years old.
Your Rabbi Mendy Singer was so understanding.
