9/10 A very interesting quizzes! Before I started the quizzes! I thought I don't even remember who Benjamin was! But when I answered the first question! My memories of Benjamin! was in full motion! I got question # 9 incorrect! and I never do the quizzes twice! whatever the results are, that is what I post! Thank you Rabbi Posner! for these quizzes! which is a wonderful teaching tool! While it is true that King Messiah will be a direct paternal descendant of Judah, by virtue of his tracing his ancestry to King David, however, it is highly unlikely that he will not be a direct (albeit not paternal) descendant of Benjamin as well, considering the high rate of intermarriage between tribes throughout our nation's history.

In fact, I would say with utmost certainty that it would be nearly impossible to find any Jew today, who has integrated within the greater Jewish society for several generations, who is not descended directly from each one of Jacob's twelve sons. Reply

The tenth question really caught me off guard because David came from Bethlehem and the Moshiach is a son of David.
I did not quite understand why Jacob called Benjamin a “preying wolf” Israel was so protective of Benjamin. Reply
