Hi Hakhel Leaders!

The Jewish year 5790 (2029-2030) is a Hakhel year, when Jews gather together to learn Torah, share inspiration, and unite as a people.

Hakhel is all about getting together, studying Torah, and gaining inspiration. One powerful way to do that is at a farbrengen, an informal, inspirational Chassidic gathering where we share words of Torah and sing heartfelt melodies together over refreshments and spirits.

We chose to make this month’s Hakhel gathering a farbrengen because the 10th day of Shevat is a special date on the calendar. It is the date when the Rebbe officially accepted the mantle of leadership (learn more about that at www.chabad.org/10shevat).

Whether you’ve been to dozens of farbrengens or if this will be your first, feel free to modify, tweak, improve, or add to just about any part of the program to make it uplifting, enlightening and special for you and your guests.

Wishing you a heartfelt lechaim!

As usual, we’ve also included our Hakhel Tip of the month.
