I just received your letter of Erev Shabbos. I trust that despite the tenor of your letter, things will turn out much better than anticipated, as you have also seen in the past when times seemed difficult. Especially as we are now in the auspicious month of Kislev, the month of deliverance and miracles.

I am gratified to note the preparations which you are making for your annual general meeting on Yud Tes Kislev. Enclosed you will find a Maamar of the Old Rebbe Baal Hasimcho, which has just come off the press, and I trust that it will be made good use of.
