Rabbi,
Excellent Parshah and quiz.

Wow! I scored a perfect 12/12. I am surprised because it is such an obscure subject, but hey, it is my father's parsha so that makes it special for me Reply
Rabbi,
A good discussion of the Parshah and a good quiz.

Dear Rabbi,
I scored 12/12 after reading many new informative articles and the biblical verses on Tazria-Metzora. I can now look into a mirror and say, “the bus stops here”.
Peace,
Deborah

9/12 Thank you for the quizzes Rabbi! Its always a pleasure doing these quizzes! Even when I get them wrong I am still learning! Shabbat Shalom. Reply
Rabbi,
As usual, another great quiz. There is a lot to learn in these Parashot (I had to look that up).
I'm glad you pointed out it isn't leprosy: I've heard many people refer to it as such.
Is that disease in the Parshah now extinct?
I was surprised to find that 208,000 currently have leprosy, officially Hansen's disease, mainly in Asia and Africa. There are some cases in America, either by being near someone with the disease (very contagious) or by being near an armadillo, of all things.

Yeah, although people translate Tzaaras as leprosy causing the misunderstanding that it’s still around today, actual Tzaaras is extinct. Reply

Reb Menachem- As always, thank you for this week's test of our Torah strength. If I may respectfully note that the link to question # 3 does not specifically address the subject matter, the 40 day and 80 periods for a new mother to purify after a male and a female child, respectively. Those particular lengths of time are not included in the essay (although the passage where they are from, Leviticus/Vayikra 12, is noted in the question at the beginning). Ezra ben-Pesach Reply
So helpful. I am very thankful for Chabad. Reply
UGH! 9/12 this week's Parsha. I, however, love these quizzes. It shows me what I should review for better understanding.
Thank you!

Susan- It would be helpful for you to learn the meaning of the Hebrew word(s) that are given as the title of the Parshas. For starters, it is invariably a question on these wonderful quizzes. It will also give you insight into the theme of that week's Torah portion. Ezra Reply

Dear Rabbi,
I scored 12/12 this year, 2026 and without any additional readings or reviews. Thank you for the weekly quiz.
Peace,
Deborah
