I started off saying to myself (not being Jewish) that I wouldn’t get a single one right. This quiz I felt less confident about than any so far. G-d does use humor to bring us Light when we least expect it. I got all right but one. (The second month in Torah). Love these quizzes. Happy Shabbos everyone! Reply

no need to feel Under or Down about your fine score Reply

Andrew Elder Ohio, USA May 18, 2026
in response to Lisa Underdown :

Well said Lisa. Yes, G-d has got to have a sense of humor,
I've got more problems than you can shake a stick at, but
I'm grateful for every one of them because that's what it
took to get me where I am today, and much gratefully so!

Shalom y'all, Shalom Israel Reply

During this month of Iyar, the second month, the Israelites were provided with quails to eat in response to their prayer for meat.

This miracle anticipates the 2nd Passover observed by Jews and falls on the same date, 14th of Iyar. Reply

Why is there a second Passover din this month?
Is it referred to in Exodus? Reply

Gershon Wolf Chicago April 24, 2026

Andrew, you can find Pesach Sheni in the Torah in Numbers, Chapter 9, verses 1 - 14. Enjoy the matzo! It's a custom to have a piece of matzo that day. Reply

8. Didn't know about Astrology and that doesn't bother me a bit. Reply

Gershon Wolf Chicago April 23, 2026
in response to Axel Berger:

Well. G-d did place the lights in the skies for signs and guideposts. As well, many Rabbanim, especially Sephardic, were expert at 'reading the stars,' particularly before the ascendancy of the telescope... As for modern 'newspaper astrologers,' Amen to your words, Axel. ~ Gershon Wolf Reply
