Disc 125, Program 500
Event Date: 10 Nissan 5741 - April 14, 1981
When the Temple stood, certain offerings were based on a person’s means. A poor person could bring an offering of lesser value, while a wealthy person who brought the same offering had not fulfilled his obligation. Since G-d had blessed him with wealth, more was expected of him. The same applies on a personal level. A person must strive to serve G-d as is expected of him or her, based on the gifts with which they were blessed. Here, the Tanya goes a step further. With each day a person must make sure to grow, even in their strongest points. After all, time is also a gift, and must be used accordingly. |
