A Personal Exodus
Disc 177, Program 708
Event Date: 11 Nissan 5741 - April 15, 1981
In a Chassidic discourse distinguished by its tone and rhythm, the Rebbe draws parallels between the Exodus from Egypt, and the journey of the soul. Just like there were many stages to the Exodus, in which as each boundary was breached another needed to be overcome, our lives are very much the same. Each “exodus” comes with the recognition that we are in the midst of a continuous journey. In our next spiritual gain, we will assume new boundaries and limitations, where just like the one we overcame before, we will need to transcend and overcome it once again. |
