A question If teshuvah is not effective after a person's death how did it happen that Korah's sons were able to make teshuvah for him? Reply

To Meira Korach's sons did not do teshuvah for him. They did teshuvah for themselves and they were able to do so precisely because G-d kept them alive even when they were swallowed up in the earth.
