I stumbled across Rabbi Gordon's teaching about one week before he passed away. What a treasure I found! His teachings--his humor---are now a part of my daily ritual. I wish I had had the opportunity to have known this man---of blessed memory. Reply

Et qu’il disait « as they say in french : Pourquoi ? ,,, Parce que … »
Reply

R. Gordon App for IOS? I've been told that "real men" have Android apps. But for those of us with Apple devices, will there be an App forthcoming? Reply

Rabbi Gordon brings serious study of Jewish texts alive. His loss is very deeply felt by students who never met him but shared a common love for the living Torah that Rabbi Gordon so eloquently communicated. May his family be comforted among the mourners of Israel. Reply

He was my Rebbe. Could not have lived without him. He guided my family in everything from choice of schools to marrying them. What a loss. Reply

A modern Shepherd Rabbi Gordon ;

As for so many of us in the U.S and around the world, you were effectively able to help guide lost Jews back in modern times with modern technology (Internet classes).

With your down-to-earth yet humorous and witty style of teaching, you were really like the shepherds described in the Chumash that Hashem chose for a special mission, to be the shepherd for the children of Israel. You did that, and in a very big, yet personal way for each of us.

Thank you for being you Rabbi Gordon. Blessed are you on High, and greatly missed here on Earth. Reply
