The Torah mentions the prohibition against judges taking bribes several times, also relating that the Almighty Himself, “does not show partiality nor take a bribe.” Yet we find it stated explicitly that repentance, prayer and charity can sway G-d’s judgment. How can we reconcile these two points?

The Rebbe distributes L’chaim to various individuals.

“He is our G-d; He is our Father; He is our King; He is our Deliverer. He will soon again save and redeem us, and in His mercy will let us hear, in the sight of every living thing: ‘Behold, I have redeemed you from this final exile as from the first, to be your G-d.’” (The Musaf Prayer)
