Assistance given Assistance should never be used as a carrot stick provided the donkey, but we must to weight very closely that assistance given is a benifit to all the people, and not simply a few. The United States has been very generous, but often the assistance goes only to a few and not all the people. Also, government often uses the carrot stick approach when to provide assistance. Charity begins at home, and from there the assistance is extended. Far to often, assistance extended does not reach those in need of it most. The United States has most always been most generaous, but seldom to assure those most in need actually receive the assistance. Reply
