Joshua and the Judges

The Jewish people passed over the Jordan, conquered Jericho and Ai, and won a complete victory over thirty-one kings.

After the death of Moses, Joshua prepared the invasion of Canaan. He sent two spies to Jericho, where Rahab had hidden them.

Abimelech murdered his brothers to become king. Jotham warned the people of Shechem, who later rebelled. Abimelech crushed the rebellion, but died when a woman dropped a stone on his head.
