Personal Identity Thank you so much for this parshah insight! I have recently become disabled and therefore, unable to work. Having lost a sense of "usefulness", I have become very depressed. Your sichos enabled me to reclaim a sense of self-worth and a realization that I have purpose and meaning in life: to praise God and serve my fellow human beings. Shalom Reply
this was good to hear in some ways BUT gave also stress because so many people, including myself do NOT have the ideal of retiring and being comfortable and have high anxiety about the future, so this concept of a retirement where you can choose and have a type of luxury of choice is very out of touch with a lot of people.
