Dr. Adam S. Ferziger is a Jewish historian and author who has studied Jewish assimilation in the Diaspora, and the the evolving relationship between observant and non-observant Jews. He is senior lecturer and vice chairman of the Graduate Program in Contemporary Jewry at Bar-Ilan University. Currently he is a visiting fellow at Wolfson College and the Oriental Institute, University of Oxford, and co-leader of the international research group on Orthodoxy and theology at the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies.
