Samach Vav: Az Yashir, Part 15: עֲלִי בְאֵר עֱנוּ לָהּ
Ohr Ein Sof, unfiltered and undiminished, as in Panim B’Panim, is brought into the world through the Jewish people and the Torah. The limitless, eternal love of the Jewish people for G-d as expressed through Mesiras Nefesh and Teshuvah is like a wellspring bursting forth from the depths of material constraints and ascending upward to the Creator. The response from G-d is the downward flow of Divinity into the world through the Torah. Thus concludes this Maamar.

Rabbi Brawer:
I love to listen to you even though I don't understand much of what you are saying. I also love to listen to classical music and do it while listening to you. Is that a good thing to do?

classical music Some of the classical music I listen to is by Handel. I don't listen to Handel's Messiah because I consider that Christian. Handel also wrote many Jewish pieces, Judas Maccabeus, Ester, Israel in Egypt, Joshua, Jeftah, Saul, etc. and they are awesome. He actually has a Jewish father; not sure about his mother, but I don't think that a Jewish man in the 17th century would be permitted to marry a Christian. I think they were Presbyterians but may have been Maranos. Anyway I find it very inspiring to listen to his music while listening to you and also while reading Tillim. I hope this is not idolatry.
