Elisha was a prophet who lived during the First Holy Temple (8th century BCE). He was a disciple of the great prophet Elijah and succeeded him as the leader of the prophets after Elijah's ascenst to heaven. Elisha was known for his many miracles, including healing the sick, multiplying food, and bringing the dead back to life. He was a devoted servant of G‑d and dedicated his life to inspiring others to live according to His will.
