Deconstructing Sin: Post-Modern Perspectives on the Chassidic Notion of Repentance
Biblical perspectives on good and evil are usually seen as a conventional polarity of white versus black. But in a strikingly post modernist approach, the Chassidic notion of repentance deconstructs this narrative. Sin is not all evil, but provides unique opportunity for spiritual transformation and the ultimate fulfillment of the divine purpose.

If the spiritual and intellectual can achieve the higher form of repentance, what would cause them(being superior) to be upset or sin in the first place?
On the other hand, by what power would the inferior (spiritual and intellectual)achieve the higher repentance?

Rolando....it is our animal soul that sins...to put it brief. We strive for our divine soul in the process of teshuvah....
The power is YHVH...made both good and evil...we need to choose in our life what path to seek..good or evil....but the process of Teshuvah is a process of heal the soul and get closer to YHVH.....tikkun olam.....
