I scored 13/14. The only one I got wrong was the rather interesting one about when Rashi says is the best time for it to rain Reply

David Ann Arbor Michigan May 26, 2025

14/14! Learning in synagogue has helped me remember a lot. Question 9 was probably the trickiest for me. I don’t study much Talmud or Rashi yet, so it made me think. Does G-d make it rain on Shabbat on purpose, or is it just more meaningful when it does? This was an awesome quiz—I honestly surprised myself with how much I knew. Thank you! Reply

Rabbi,

This week’s reading was long and difficult but I scored 12/14. I would have done a perfect score if I selected my first choice answers for questions 5 and 9. Still a great quiz and activity after reading the Torah readings. Just like Steve, I had to search for the quiz location too.

Peace,
Deborah Reply

Rabbi,
An excellent discussion and quiz for the double Parshah.
I didn't see a link for the quiz, though: I did a search for 'Behar-Bechukotai quiz' and found it. Reply

I missed the Rashi question, seems it is incumbant upon me to study the teachings of the great sages. I have a question that I hope someone can help with. Why is the purpose of Leviticus 27:33, where we are told not to exchange a tithe from the herd or flock, but then are told if we exchange at all both are set apart. Is it meant to be a deterrent to attempting, or is there a deeper understanding. Reply

11/14 ! I’m so glad because I’m learning and improving and realized that in addition to parsha in a nut shell I need to read the whole parsha and study a few days each week .Hopefully I’ll work my way up to a perfect score.! Reply
