Prof. Shlomo Berger is Professor of Yiddish studies and Fellow at the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. He is currently visiting Fellow of the European seminar on Old Yiddish at the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies.

Can you help me get a passage of this from 1st Chronicles 28:2 into Yiddish? ב וַיָּקָם דָּוִיד הַמֶּלֶךְ, עַל-רַגְלָיו, וַיֹּאמֶר, שְׁמָעוּנִי אַחַי וְעַמִּי: אֲנִי עִם-לְבָבִי לִבְנוֹת בֵּית מְנוּחָה לַאֲרוֹן בְּרִית-יְהוָה, וְלַהֲדֹם רַגְלֵי אֱלֹהֵינוּ, וַהֲכִינוֹתִי, לִבְנוֹת. Reply
