There are Mitzvos that are linked to specific days or weeks throughout the year, but the only Mitzvah linked to an entire month is during the month of Iyar – the Counting of the Omer. This is a lesson for all year round: A person must continuously grow in matters of holiness, always seeking new ways to take on more Mitzvos.
