Videos of the Rebbe about Medicine
My Encounter
Dr. Louis Teichholz is a leading cardiologist. In 1977, he was a Head of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. When, on the holiday of Shmini Atezers in 1977, the Rebbe suffered a massive heart attack, he was asked to join a team of doctors treating the Rebbe at 770. It was there that he merited to converse with the Rebbe about many fascinating topics.
My Encounter
In 1975, Rabbi Yekusiel Yehudah Halberstam, the Sanz-Klausenburger Rebbe, opened a not-for-profit hospital in Netanya, Israel. He appointed Rabbi Gershon Lieder to oversee the project while it was still in the early stages of development, and as the eventual director of the hospital. As part of their effort, the fundraising committee decided to visit the Lubavitcher Rebbe in Brooklyn, to ask for his assistance and advice.
