Max Cohen is a businessman from Manchester, England who was scheduled to make a trip to Bangladesh in April of 1991. Shortly before his trip, a powerful cyclone had struck the Chittagong district of southeastern Bangladesh, killing 138,000 people and leaving over ten million homeless. He was very worried about the safety of travelling there as more cyclone warnings were still in effect in that area. But a message he received from the Rebbe made him reconsider cancelling.
