Ish Bosheth: (914-872 BCE) Son of King Saul. Following his father's death, he ruled for two years, fighting with David for the right to the throne. He gradually lost the support of the people, until his own general, Abner, swore allegiance to David. Ish Bosheth was ultimately murdered by two of his own captains.
