Jehoahaz: Son of King Jehu. Reigned from 678-663 BCE. During his reign, the Aramites subjugated the Israelites, leaving them with a very weak army. Jehoahaz was succeeded by his son Jehoash.
Jehu killed the priests of Baal but kept the calves. His son Jehoahaz followed his sins. Succeeded by Joash, he defeated Syria three times and Elisha died.
