Orot Tachash = ORot + TeCHelet + SHakhor = Light Blue and Black. Narwhal have that very coloration, not to mention the singular horn on their heads. JPS translates it as "dolphin". So it would make sense that narwhal have been caught in Egypt by fishermen, as it is scheduled to reappear (in the Mediterranean) in the era of moshiach. Shechinah = SHanan + CHo + bINAH. Reply

If the Tachash hide is of one animal, why is it written "Oroth" in plural? Reply

Rabbi New thank you so much for this dvar Torah. Very relevant at a time where my husband and I are experiencing difficulties in our marriage. The resolution lies in becoming that One (tachash/creature).
As one, a new defining feature will emanate and dominate(tachash skin)- a beautiful one that we will take pride in together.
You say that it lies in the minutia. I will do my best to be most sensitive to that both physically and spiritually.
