Rabbi New...language is at times so limited and confining when the heart is bursting and tears are flowing with joy...this is how it is to listen to you teach about Parsha Toldos in particular. As usual, the depth and richness of your words require at least 2-3 listens...and so I hope to do and be prepared for Shabbos Toldos when it comes. Joy
My own father was like this; because of the properties of dicipline (training, self contain, and able to train others) and strick justice; he provide a fence of safety around us; satety; that we maybe free from fear; and full of joy. So it Ias not so much that my father was "joyful' but he provided a safe area for us to be of joy.
Sir by the way you are one of my favorite teachers. I appreciate your voice and the manner in which to tell the story. If I were in your classroom; I'd bring you an apple.
