A Mission Accomplished

Rabbi Yoseph Itzhak Gurewitz was part of a delegation sent by the Rebbe sent to study in Israel.When Purim arrived, the Rebbe requested that they bring the joy of the festival to soldiers stationed on bases across Israel. As the group neared their destination, they came to a makeshift roadblock where they were confronted by a mob of Arab youths. Motivated by their mission and the Rebbe’s words, they forged on with their assignment. (1976)
